Denis Sullivan is a Partner with Marjama Muldoon Blasiak & Sullivan LLP.
Mr. Sullivan’s practice focuses on patent, trademark, and copyright matters, with an emphasis on the litigation and resolution of infringement disputes and related claims in federal district courts and the International Trade Commission. Mr. Sullivan counsels clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, including providing legal opinions on issues of infringement and validity of intellectual property rights.
As a registered Patent Attorney, Mr. Sullivan prosecutes patent applications, appeals, and patent reexaminations and interferences. Mr. Sullivan also prosecutes trademark applications and trademark opposition/cancellation proceedings in the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
Mr. Sullivan is a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Sullivan was an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager in the Aviation Design Division of the Port Authority of NY & NJ. During this time, Mr. Sullivan designed electrical and electronics systems for LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark Airport facilities, including CCTV, security, fiber optic, radio, fire alarm, public address, lighting, and power distribution systems.
Before joining Marjama Muldoon, Mr. Sullivan practiced as an attorney in the Intellectual Property Litigation Department of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York.
