Michael J. Wasco

Michael Wasco is an Associate with Marjama Muldoon Blasiak & Sullivan LLP.  Mr. Wasco’s practice focuses on patent, trademark, and copyright matters, with an emphasis on the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications.  As a registered patent attorney, he has prepared and prosecuted U.S. and foreign patent applications in a wide range of technical areas, with particular emphasis in the fields of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical arts.  He also has experience with trademark matters, including foreign trademark applications under the Madrid Protocol, opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and domain-name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Wasco developed an extensive and diverse background as a mechanical engineer.  His professional experience includes positions with start-up technology companies in the semiconductor and biotechnology fields, as well as with established organizations that provided automated equipment for the pharmaceutical and circuit-board assembly industries.
