EMPLOYMENT FOR LATERAL ATTORNEYS

Marjama Muldoon has immediate openings for Intellectual Property Associates and Patent Agents.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience in patent prosecution and/or litigation. Candidates should also be registered to practice before the USPTO. While qualified candidates of all technical disciplines will be considered, backgrounds in electrical engineering and computer science are preferred.

The firm's growing intellectual property practice focuses on patent and trademark prosecution as well as litigation of disputes for clients that include regional and national Fortune 100 companies. In offering a generous compensation package that is comparable to that offered by larger firms in New York and Boston, the firm seeks to attract highly qualified candidates interested in developing a sophisticated law practice while maintaining a healthy work-life balance in Central New York.

EMPLOYMENT FOR LAW STUDENTS / NEW ATTORNEYS

While the Firm currently does not operate a formal, summer associate program, we welcome resumes from law students and new attorneys with exceptional technical experience and/or experience as Examiners at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Qualified candidates must be both technically proficient and effective communicators. While the firm considers all technical backgrounds, certain backgrounds are particularly preferred, such as electrical engineering, chemical engineering, and computer science.

New attorneys may be eligible for compensation comparable to that offered by top firms in larger cities.

EMPLOYMENT FOR IP SUPPORT STAFF

Intellectual Propery Paralegals & Assistants - Marjama Muldoon has immediate openings for experienced IP Paralegals and Assistants. The successful candidate should have 3 years experience in US, PCT and/or Foreign Patent Prosecution. CPi and IPDAS experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional work experience Top pay and excellent benefits for qualified candidates. Relocation assistance may be available.

Docketing Paralegal - The successful candidate should have 5 years experience in US, PCT and Foreign Patent Prosecution including 2 years docketing experience. CPi and IPDAS experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience required. Top pay and excellent benefits for qualified candidates. Relocation assistance may be available.
